Day Fourteen
The Eating Frenzy Begins!
Eat. Shop. Eat. Rest. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
China is definitely a very relaxing part of the trip, as we stay with Lu’s family and mostly just do the above. Playing with Lu’s half sister Keana is a joy, as is hanging out with the now an actual human Lu’s other half sister Mei Mei (she’s 8 now so can actually talk and stuff!). Exercising, jogs by the lake, or bikes around the island in the morning, followed by fuel, rest, and recuperation are just what we need.
We’ve started the #roadtofont to start doing some prep work for Fontainebleau, even though it’s supposed to rain most of the time we’re there D: Either way, definitely enjoying the lifestyle here, and Lu’s dad and stepmom spoil us big time (sometimes too much so, a little independence can also be nice).
I will probably be a bit lax on food descriptions, as there’s just too many dishes to keep track of. Pictures speak a thousand words anyways :)
Activity Of The Day
The activity of the day for today was shopping for shorts and shirts for Lu, since it’s way too hot here for her derth of hot weather wear.
